BIO
Joe Forrest is a writer for TV, hailing from West Yorkshire. After graduating from Leeds Beckett University with a BA Hons in Film & Moving Image Production, Joe worked in factual television for three years. He then moved over to drama and worked as a researcher on Emmerdale, Holby City and the Red Riding trilogy. He has also previously worked as a script editor on Silent Witness and Grantchester.
Back in 2022 Joe developed an original Crime Drama with FilmWave, titled EDGE OF CHAOS. In 2023 he developed, and an original drama titled BAD TASTE with Quay Street productions.
He is currently writing on the second season of ITV'S ''AFTER THE FLOOD''
Joe tends to write deeply flawed, relatable characters and pushes them into high concept or genre settings.
